Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking an enterprise architect to define target state architecture aligning with business outcomes and bank strategy.

You will design end-to-end architectural views across business, data, and technology layers, including cloud-native patterns, microservices, APIs, and event-driven approaches. Collaboration across global stakeholders and adherence to Basel III/PSD2/ISO 20022 expectations are essential.

Qualifications

• Defining current and target state architectures for business outcomes across business, application, data and technology layers.
• “Cloud Native Architecture” and microservices design patterns with API and event-driven approaches.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across geographies to shape strategic architecture.
• End-to-end solution design including HLSD with non-functional requirements and data models.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) and regulatory contexts (Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022).
• Domain experience in Banking, especially Commercial Banking and payments/core banking integrations.

Responsibilities

• Current State analysis with business, product owners, and SMEs to document architecture and strategy.
• Define target state solution architecture and end-to-end processes for the scope.
• Evaluate roadmap options and document end-to-end implementation plans.
• Deliver High Level Solution Design covering conceptual, logical, physical architecture and dependencies.

Job description

Key Skills and experience:

• Proficient in defining the target state architecture and high-level design for the assigned scope based on business outcomes and aligned with the bank's strategy. The target architecture and solution should cover all relevant dimensions business, application, data and technology architecture.
• Proficient in Cloud Native Architecture, Microservices design patterns, API design, Event-Driven Architecture and Database concepts. Expected to have good understanding of monolithic to microservices migration.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across multiple functional areas, domains and geographies, to define the strategic architecture for a given area.
• Analysis of options and delivery of end-to-end solution designs using the relevant building blocks making sure the implementation delivers both the immediate business outcomes and moves us towards the longer-term enterprise architecture outcomes.
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Preferrable to have knowledge and experience of Industry Architecture Frameworks: TOGAF, ArchiMate etc.
• Preferrable to have knowledge and experience of global and regional regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022).
• Domain – Experience in Banking preferably on Commercial Banking and good understanding of integration to Payments and Core Banking platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Current State analysis – Collaborate with business, product owners, architects and technical SMEs from different areas to understand and document the current state architecture, pain points, objectives and strategy from different stakeholders.
• Solution Development – Define target state solution architecture, design end-to-end architectural views and processes for the given scope.
• Roadmap options evaluation – Document different roadmap options, analysis of different options and define end-to-end roadmap for the recommended option.
• Deliverable - Create High Level Solution Design (HLSD) which covers conceptual, logical and physical architecture along with NFRs, Data Model, dependencies, risk etc.
