Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in India seeks an Enterprise Architect to define the target state architecture across business, data, application, and technology layers, aligned with the bank's strategy.

You will lead architecture design, roadmaps, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver end-to-end solutions. The role requires expertise in cloud-native and microservices patterns, API design, and event-driven architecture, with knowledge of TOGAF/ArchiMate and regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, PSD2,

Qualifications

• Experience defining target state architecture aligned with business outcomes.
• Knowledge of cloud native, microservices, API design and event-driven patterns.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across functions to define strategic architecture.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or ArchiMate frameworks.
• Understanding of Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022 regulatory frameworks.
• Banking domain experience, especially commercial banking and payments integration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current state architecture with stakeholders to capture pain points, objectives, and strategy.
• Define target state architecture and end-to-end views for the given scope.
• Document roadmap options and evaluate end-to-end implementation paths.
• Create High Level Solution Design (HLSD) with NFRs, data model, dependencies, and risk.

Job description

Key Skills and experience:

• Proficient in defining the target state architecture and high-level design for the assigned scope based on business outcomes and aligned with the bank's strategy. The target architecture and solution should cover all relevant dimensions business, application, data and technology architecture.
• Proficient in Cloud Native Architecture, Microservices design patterns, API design, Event-Driven Architecture and Database concepts. Expected to have good understanding of monolithic to microservices migration.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across multiple functional areas, domains and geographies, to define the strategic architecture for a given area.
• Analysis of options and delivery of end-to-end solution designs using the relevant building blocks making sure the implementation delivers both the immediate business outcomes and moves us towards the longer-term enterprise architecture outcomes.
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Preferrable to have knowledge and experience of Industry Architecture Frameworks: TOGAF, ArchiMate etc.
• Preferrable to have knowledge and experience of global and regional regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022).
• Domain – Experience in Banking preferably on Commercial Banking and good understanding of integration to Payments and Core Banking platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Current State analysis – Collaborate with business, product owners, architects and technical SMEs from different areas to understand and document the current state architecture, pain points, objectives and strategy from different stakeholders.
• Solution Development – Define target state solution architecture, design end-to-end architectural views and processes for the given scope.
• Roadmap options evaluation – Document different roadmap options, analysis of different options and define end-to-end roadmap for the recommended option.
• Deliverable - Create High Level Solution Design (HLSD) which covers conceptual, logical and physical architecture along with NFRs, Data Model, dependencies, risk etc.
