Job summary

Tekskills Inc. seeks an experienced Enterprise/Solution Architect to define target state architectures for banking domain initiatives, aligning with business strategy across business, application, data and technology layers.

You will specialize in Cloud Native Architecture, Microservices, API design and Event-Driven patterns, with understanding of regulatory frameworks (Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022) and cross-regional collaboration to deliver end-to-end roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to define target state architecture aligned with business outcomes.
• Experience with cloud-native and microservices patterns and API design.
• Knowledge of banking integration with payments and core platforms.

Responsibilities

• Current state analysis – collaborate with business, product owners, architects and SMEs to document current state architecture and strategy.
• Solution development – define target state architecture and end-to-end views for the scope.
• Roadmap options evaluation – document options and define end-to-end roadmap.
• Deliverables – create High Level Solution Design covering architecture, NFRs and data model.

Job description

Key Skills and experience:

• Proficient in defining the target state architecture and high-level design for the assigned scope based on business outcomes and aligned with the bank's strategy. The target architecture and solution should cover all relevant dimensions business, application, data and technology architecture.
• Proficient in Cloud Native Architecture, Microservices design patterns, API design, Event-Driven Architecture and Database concepts. Expected to have good understanding of monolithic to microservices migration.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across multiple functional areas, domains and geographies, to define the strategic architecture for a given area.
• Analysis of options and delivery of end-to-end solution designs using the relevant building blocks making sure the implementation delivers both the immediate business outcomes and moves us towards the longer-term enterprise architecture outcomes.
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Preferrable to have knowledge and experience of Industry Architecture Frameworks: TOGAF, ArchiMate etc.
• Preferrable to have knowledge and experience of global and regional regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022).
• Domain – Experience in Banking preferably on Commercial Banking and good understanding of integration to Payments and Core Banking platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Current State analysis – Collaborate with business, product owners, architects and technical SMEs from different areas to understand and document the current state architecture, pain points, objectives and strategy from different stakeholders.
• Solution Development – Define target state solution architecture, design end-to-end architectural views and processes for the given scope.
• Roadmap options evaluation – Document different roadmap options, analysis of different options and define end-to-end roadmap for the recommended option.
• Deliverable - Create High Level Solution Design (HLSD) which covers conceptual, logical and physical architecture along with NFRs, Data Model, dependencies, risk etc.
