Job summary

Billed Right in Chennai is seeking a Payment Posting Specialist to support US healthcare RCM for oncology, radiology, and Veradigm. The role requires 4–7 years of experience and hands-on posting of insurance and patient payments.

You will review EOBs/ERAs, post contractual adjustments, and ensure accuracy while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Proficiency in CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with oncology and Veradigm software is required.
• Strong understanding of US healthcare medical billing and RCM.
• Proficiency in CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CARC/RARC, EOB and ERA.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and meticulous work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance and patient payments from EOBs and ERAs.
• Review EOB/ERA and understand payments, denials, adjustments, and patient responsibility.
• Post contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance correctly.
• Handle unapplied cash, refunds, reversals, and recoupments.
• Identify denials, underpayments, and zero-pay claims and route them to the appropriate team.
• Reconcile payment batches with EFT/check/deposit amounts.
• Maintain high accuracy and productivity in daily payment posting.
• Follow HIPAA and PHI confidentiality requirements.

• Basic knowledge of chemotherapy, infusion, immunotherapy, J-codes, drug units, and administration codes.
• Understand oncology claim payments, adjustments, and denials.

Radiology Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET, and other imaging services.
• Understand professional component (26), technical component (TC), and global billing.

Required Skills

• Strong exposure to Oncology & in Veradigm software.
• Knowledge of US healthcare medical billing/RCM.
• Good understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CARC/RARC, EOB, and ERA.
