Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the hospital's quality management system in accordance with regulatory standards such as NABH and NABL.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality management programs and initiatives.
• Lead and support quality improvement projects, collaborating with department heads and staff to identify areas for enhancement.
• Analyze data and trends to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
• Identify risks and ensure patient safety through process improvements and policy development.

Job description

Quality Management Systems:

• 1. Develop, implement and maintain the hospital's quality management system in accordance with regulatory standards, such as NABH, NABL and others.
• 2. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality management programs and initiatives.

Quality Improvement Initiatives:

• 1. Lead and support quality improvement projects, collaborating with department heads and staff to identify areas for enhancement.
• 2. Analyze data and trends to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care
• 3. Outcomes and operational efficiency.
• 4. Conduct clinical audits.

Regulatory Compliance:

• 1. Ensure the hospital's adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, standards and accreditation requirements.
• 2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and facilitate corrective actions.

Training and Education:

• 1. Develop and provide training programs to educate hospital staff on quality management processes and regulatory requirements.
• 2. Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement throughout the organization.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• 1. Collect, analyze and interpret data related to patient outcomes, quality indicators and compliance metrics.
• 2. Prepare reports and presentations for hospital leadership and regulatory agencies.

Risk Management:

• 1. Identify potential risks to patient safety and clinical quality and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• 2. Collaborate with risk management teams to address and resolve quality-related incidents.
• 3. Design and implement process and policies to enhance patient safety.

Documentation and Policies:

• 1. Establish and maintain documentation and policies related to quality management, including standard operating procedures and guidelines.
