Job summary

SIFY Technologies Limited in Hyderabad seeks an experienced L3 Network Engineer with 8-16 years to join our networking practice. You will be hands-on with WAN/LAN design, routing, MPLS, VPNs, and security devices, supporting complex deployments.

CCIE Enterprise/Service Provider/Data Center or JNCIE SP/DC certifications are preferred. The role requires 24x7 shift flexibility and strong communication skills to coordinate across teams.

Qualifications

• L3 Network Engineer with 8-10 yrs. hands-on experience in network deployments.
• 4 years of experience in Network operational support roles in BFSI sector or TAC, etc.
• Strong knowledge of WAN/LAN, routing protocols, and security devices (Firewalls Fortinet/Checkpoint, Cisco).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; willingness for 24x7 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LAN/WAN design including protocols and routing.
• Identify potential failures and propose solutions.
• Update knowledge base with known errors.
• Support network deployments and ongoing operations.

• Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on WAN, LAN segmentation, Must Cisco 9K Series Switches, RSTP, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, L2,L3-VPN, MC-LAG, VC(witching), Routers, Firewalls Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco, Riverbed Bandwidth Optimizers, F5 Load Balancers.
• Maintain design of LAN/WAN including protocols and routing.
