Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in India is seeking an Email Security Specialist to manage the secure flow of corporate emails, protect against phishing, malware, and spoofing, and administer Mimecast and related tools.

You will configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, triage phishing alerts, and coordinate with SOC and endpoint teams for threat correlation. This role requires 5–7 years of hands-on email security experience.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in email security or related areas.
• Experience with email threat detection methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor email security platforms (Mimecast) including policies, encryption, and continuity features.
• Triage and resolve phishing alerts, malware-infected attachments, and impersonation attempts.
• Coordinate with SOC and endpoint teams for email-based threat correlation.
• Configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to strengthen email authentication and anti-spoofing controls.
• Generate monthly reports on blocked threats, phishing statistics, and email traffic patterns.
• Handle mailbox quarantines, user release requests, and alert fine-tuning.
• Investigate shadow IT indicators and suspicious outbound communications.
• Support email DLP integration and incident handling with data governance teams.
• Assist in domain reputation monitoring and threat feed integrations.
• Provide support during cyber drill simulations and post-incident investigations.

The role includes day-to-day administration of tools like Mimecast and integrating with DLP and endpoint security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor email security platforms (Mimecast) including policies, encryption, and continuity features.
