Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an OpenShift Infrastructure Engineer to lead platform engineering, infrastructure operations, and complex migrations. The role emphasizes migration execution over development in large-scale enterprise environments.

You will design, build, and operate OpenShift clusters, own the infrastructure lifecycle, and work with architecture, security, and application teams during migrations and cutovers to ensure reliability and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in OpenShift cluster administration.
• Solid background in Infrastructure / Platform Engineering.
• Proven involvement in migration projects with explicit infrastructure or platform scope.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in largescale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters in enterprise environments
• Own OpenShift infrastructure operations including installation, upgrades, scaling, and day2 operations
• Actively participate in migration projects (OnPrem to OnPrem, DC to DC, OnPrem to Cloud, legacy platforms to OpenShift)
• Work closely with architecture, security, and application teams during migration and cutover phases
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, and availability aligned with SRE principles
• Support container platform operations, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
• Adhere to enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards
