Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an OpenShift Infrastructure Engineer in India to focus on platform engineering, infrastructure operations and complex migrations. You will design, build, and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters, owning installation, upgrades, scaling and day2 operations while collaborating with security, architecture and application teams.

The role emphasizes migration projects (OnPrem to OnPrem, DC to DC, OnPrem to Cloud) and ensuring platform reliability, performance, and governance

Qualifications

• Hands-on OpenShift cluster administration experience.
• Strong background in infrastructure/platform engineering.
• Proven involvement in migration projects with infra scope.
• Solid Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in largescale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate OpenShift clusters in enterprise environments.
• Own OpenShift infrastructure operations including installation, upgrades, and scaling.
• Participate in migration projects (OnPrem to OnPrem, DC to DC, OnPrem to Cloud, legacy platforms to OpenShift).

• Ensure platform reliability, performance, and availability aligned with SRE principles.
• Support container platform operations, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Role & responsibilities

• We are looking for an OpenShift Infrastructure Engineer with strong prior involvement in migration projects. The focus of this role is platform engineering, infrastructure operations, and execution of complex migrations, rather than pure application development.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters in enterprise environments
• Own OpenShift infrastructure operations including installation, upgrades, scaling, and day2 operations
• Actively participate in migration projects (OnPrem to OnPrem, DC to DC, OnPrem to Cloud, legacy platforms to OpenShift)
• Work closely with architecture, security, and application teams during migration and cutover phases
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, and availability aligned with SRE principles
• Support container platform operations, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
• Adhere to enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards

Mandatory Skills (MustHave)

• Strong handson experience in OpenShift cluster administration
• Solid background in Infrastructure / Platform Engineering
• Proven involvement in migration projects with explicit infrastructure or platform scope
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in largescale enterprise environments

GoodtoHave Skills

• Exposure to automation and operational tooling (Ansible, scripting, etc.)
• Understanding of container platform lifecycle and operations
