Job Description

Responsibilities

• Timely preparation of Monthly management accounts. The management accounts are presented to the audit committee on a quarterly basis (planning to switch to monthly presentation).
• Timely preparation of monthly budgets and variance analysis.
• Cost analysis and reconciliation of cost accounts with financial accounts.
• Coordination with finance team head office to ensure proper financial resources are available to the unit.
• Provide commercial support to Unit CEO.
• Analyze financial information and highlight unusual variations/trends.
• Coordinate with internal auditors and ensure audit compliance reports are submitted in a timely manner.
• Support Accounts Head in decision making.
• Keep a close eye on credit control function.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Manufacturing experience mandatory; steel industry experience preferred.
• 7 to 12 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Manufacturing experience is compulsory. Steel manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience working on ERP Microsoft Navision is an added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Presentable and good communication skills.
