Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Medicine with specialized oncology expertise.
  • Proficiency in planning and administering chemotherapy with supportive care and management of toxicities.
  • Knowledge of Radiation Therapy principles and collaboration with radiation oncology teams.
  • Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Oncology or related specialty (e.g., MD/DNB in Internal Medicine with DM/DNB in Medical Oncology or equivalent).
  • Valid medical registration with appropriate national or state medical councils and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in hospital-based oncology practice, preferably in a tertiary or superspeciality setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment, evidence-based practice approach, and familiarity with international oncology guidelines and protocols.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care, continuous learning, and participation in quality improvement and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with various cancers, developing individualized treatment plans that may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapies, and other oncologic interventions.
  • Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations, reviewing diagnostic tests and imaging, coordinating multidisciplinary tumor boards, and monitoring treatment response and side effects.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated, evidence-based cancer care.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality initiatives, and may contribute to research, teaching, and continuous medical education activities within the hospital.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Oncologist role based in Faridabad at Accord Superspeciality Hospital. The Oncologist will assess, diagnose, and manage patients with various cancers, developing individualized treatment plans that may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapies, and other oncologic interventions.
