Job summary

Newt Global is seeking an experienced Okta IAM Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure authentication and SSO across enterprise apps. You will work on MFA, lifecycle management, and IAM across GCP environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with identity protocols, Okta integrations, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud security practices, in an Agile setting. You will collaborate with Security and Platform teams to enforce Zero Trust principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in automating IAM workflows using Terraform and scripts.
• Ability to implement SSO (SAML/OIDC/OAuth) and MFA across apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
• Configure and manage Okta Universal Directory, groups, profile mappings, and access policies.
• Implement MFA, adaptive authentication, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate Okta with applications and cloud platforms hosted on GCP.
• Automate Okta configuration using Terraform, APIs, and scripting tools.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for identity management deployments.
• Collaborate with Security, Platform Engineering, and Application teams in Agile environments.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance requirements.
• Monitor identity-related incidents and perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Support enterprise security initiatives and Zero Trust authentication frameworks.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure authentication, authorization, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and lifecycle management solutions across enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with identity protocols, Okta integrations, automation, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security practices.
