Job summary

RPG Group in India is seeking a skilled professional to support manufacturing operations across manpower planning, quality adherence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. You will monitor attendance, implement multiskilling initiatives, and ensure production priorities align with customer specifications.

This role also covers maintaining production reports, tracking OEE and downtime, and coordinating corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Allocate manpower based on production priorities.
• Monitor attendance and absenteeism.
• Train, guide, and motivate operators.
• Develop operator skills through multiskilling initiatives.
• Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies.
• Verify first-off approval before production.
• Monitor in-process quality.
• Coordinate corrective actions for quality issues.
• Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
• Ensure PPE compliance.
• Maintain 5S standards across the production area.
• Conduct daily safety checks and toolbox talks.
• Report and investigate safety incidents.
• Implement Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Eliminate process waste.
• Support OEE improvement projects. Participate in SMED and cost reduction activities.
• Maintain production reports. Record shift handover details. Update production MIS.
• Monitor OEE, rejection, productivity, downtime, and absenteeism.
• Ensure compliance with IATF documentation requirements.
