Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Officer-Packing for its Krishnapatnam facility in Andhra Pradesh. The role ensures smooth operation of packing equipment and compliance with food safety standards, with responsibilities spanning equipment operation, shift parameter monitoring, line health, and strict adherence to HACCP and safety protocols.

The incumbent will perform pre-shift risk assessments, manage manpower, and uphold 5S on the ammonia plant while maintaining logs and quality checks.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma with relevant experience in manufacturing or processing environments.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in industrial operations.
• Experience in packing operations and plant safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain packing equipment.
• Record and monitor equipment parameters in shifts.
• Operate refinery and packing processes.
• Follow safety and HACCP standards.
• Conduct pre-shift risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower.
• Sustain 5S and housekeeping in ammonia plant.
• Ensure online quality checks of cold room parameters.
• Regular machine health checks and preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Minimize wastage and damage to oil and packing materials.
• Maintain shift records and hand over/take over logs.

Role Purpose Statement

• Ensure smooth running of Packing equipment’s and operations with quality and Food Safety

Main Accountabilities

• Operate and Maintain packing equipment
• To record and monitor the equipment parameters in shifts.
• Operate the refinery & packing process.
• Follow the Safety & food safety Standards & HACCP standards.
• To conduct pre shift risk assessment and Tool box talk with the entire team.
• Ensure the proper utilization of manpower.
• Sustain the 5s & housekeeping in ammonia plant.
• Ensure the online quality check of cold room parameters.
• Regular machine health check-up and follow maintenance of machine as per schedule.
• Minimize wastage and damage in respect to oil and packing materials.
• Maintain the shift records and log book and proper hand over take over.
