Job summary

AVIAREPS TURKEY in Mumbai seeks a finance professional to manage head office and regional finance operations. You will handle daily accounting, bank reconciliations, monthly closings, and prepare financial statements in coordination with the Manager Finance.

The ideal candidate is a commerce graduate with accounting knowledge; CA firm experience is a plus, and familiarity with tourism and aviation (IATA BSP) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation in commerce with thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
• CA firm experience is an added advantage.
• Experience in Tourism/Aviation including IATA BSP knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day financial operations of Head Office and branches.
• Handle correspondence in the Finance and Administration division.
• Execution of the monthly Accounting & settlement.
• Prepare quarterly, half-yearly and annual statements of accounts with Manager Finance.
• Maintain financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheets.
• Perform monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all day-to-day financial operation of Head Office and branches periodically
• Handle correspondence in the Finance and Administration division
• Execution of the monthly Accounting & settlement
• Preparation of the quarter, mid year and annual statements of accounts in consultation with the Manager Finance
• Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts
• Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information
• Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• Prepare the Consolidated Excel Reports for Management
• Preparation of monthly financial & Overview reports
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
• Account/bank reconciliations
• Invoice creation and distribution as per requirement
• Assist with Special projects as required

Key Skills

• Graduate in commerce with thorough knowledge of accounting principles
• Working experience in CA firm will be an added advantage
• Preferably having experience in Tourism, Aviation including IATA BSP knowledge
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Good knowledge of the MS-Office Products, especially MS excel skills and Tax knowledge
• Desire to learn and be trained
• Innovative and ability to perform best at challenging times
• Fluent spoken and written in English, further languages preferred
