Job summary

Lupin in India is seeking an Officer - Civil to manage civil projects and maintenance within the manufacturing campus. The role requires a BE/B.Tech in Civil and 2–5 years of pharma/industrial civil experience, with hands-on supervision of site activities and coordination with engineering teams.

You will review drawings, estimate BOQs and costs, monitor progress against schedules, and ensure quality and timely completion of all civil works across Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from an accredited institute.
• 2–5 years of experience in Pharma/Industrial Civil Projects & Maintenance.
• Ability to plan, supervise and coordinate civil works inside a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise civil project and maintenance activities within the manufacturing facility.
• Monitor RCC, structural, masonry, flooring, waterproofing, painting, roads, drainage and finishing works.
• Execute Greenfield and Brownfield projects, plant modifications, expansions, and civil maintenance.
• Review drawings, layouts, specifications and quantities during execution.
• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity estimates and cost estimates for civil works.
• Take site measurements, verify contractor bills/JMRs, and reconcile materials.
• Supervise contractors, manpower, and day-to-day site activities to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor work quality and inspect civil materials and completed works.
• Coordinate with structural and architectural consultants, contractors, engineering teams and user departments.
• Plan and monitor project activities against schedules and prepare progress reports.
