Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking an experienced ODX Author Engineer to lead diagnostic data authoring for automotive programs. You will work with ASAM standards to ensure compliant ODX/PDX data and support ECU diagnostics across projects.

You'll develop specifications for DIDs, RIDs, and DTCs, and use tools like CANdelaStudio, ODX Studio, DTS Monaco, INCA, and CANoe to implement and validate diagnostics. Strong debugging and communication with OEMs are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASAM ODX/PDX data authoring and validation.
• Strong knowledge of ECU diagnostics and DIDs, RIDs, and DTCs.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and authoring environments.
• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics protocols (CAN, DoIP, Ethernet, UDS).

Responsibilities

• Author, maintain, and validate ODX/PDX diagnostic data per ASAM standards.
• Develop diagnostic specifications for ECU functions and diagnostic sessions.
• Integrate ODX data into tools like CANdelaStudio, ODX Studio, DTS Monaco, INCA, CANoe.
• Support ECU diagnostics implementation and validation activities.
• Debug and resolve diagnostic issues including DTC behavior mismatches.
• Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and diagnostics teams for requirements and release alignment.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced ODX Author Engineer with strong expertise in ODX/PDX diagnostic data authoring, UDS diagnostics, ECU diagnostics implementation, and vehicle communication protocols across automotive programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Author, maintain, and validate ODX/PDX diagnostic data in compliance with ASAM standards.
• Develop and manage diagnostic specifications for ECU functions, DIDs, RIDs, DTCs, and diagnostic sessions.
• Integrate ODX data into tools such as CANdelaStudio, ODX Studio, DTS Monaco, INCA, and CANoe.
• Support ECU diagnostics implementation and validation activities.
• Debug and resolve diagnostic-related issues, including:
• DTC behavior mismatches
• Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and diagnostics teams for:
• Requirement clarification
• Release alignment
• Support diagnostics testing over CAN, DoIP, Ethernet, and UDS protocols.
• Participate in diagnostic data reviews and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with OEM diagnostic standards and project requirements.
