Job summary

A leading automotive technology firm is seeking an experienced automotive embedded software engineer with over 10 years of experience, specifically in the diagnostics domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of UDS, COM, and OBD-II, with expertise in AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR diagnostics stacks. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for interacting with customers and global teams. This full-time position will be based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in automotive embedded software with at least 5 years in the diagnostics domain.
• Strong knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229), COM, OBD-II (ISO 15031).
• Expertise in non-AUTOSAR and AUTOSAR Classic diagnostics stack.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in automotive embedded software with at least 5 years in the diagnostics domain.
• Strong knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229), COM, OBD-II (ISO 15031).
• Expertise in non-AUTOSAR, AUTOSAR Classic diagnostics stack (DCM, DEM, FBL).
• Familiarity with OEM diagnostic specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to interact with customers and global teams.

Good to Have

• Experience with Over-the-Air (OTA) update strategies.
• Familiarity with ASIL / Functional Safety (ISO 26262) impact on diagnostics.
• Exposure to cloud-connected diagnostics and telematics.
• Experience with Vector CANdela, ODX, OTX, CANoe, CANalyzer, DaVinci Configurator
