Job summary

CIT Services is seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to design, develop, and implement Odoo modules and workflows across core business processes in a dynamic client environment.

You will integrate Odoo with third‑party apps, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with project coordinators and business users to deliver robust solutions. Strong Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Odoo Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo base modules and core workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with integrating Odoo with third-party services.
• Odoo certification is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as an Odoo Developer with a focus on Odoo base modules.


• Familiar with most of the core modules in Odoo.


• Bachelor’s degree(or Master’s) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in developing and customizing Odoo modules.


• Promote and contribute to the open source community.


• Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages and tools related to Odoo development.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to collective objectives.


• Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git.


• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.


• Odoo certification is an added advantage.


• Passion for open source development. Understanding of OCA (Odoo Community Association) principles and guidelines. Contributions to OCA is a huge plus
