Job summary

Univedge Consulting LLC seeks an experienced Odoo Architect to lead architecture, design, customization, and implementation of Odoo ERP solutions. The candidate will own the Odoo technical architecture for enterprise deployments in Bengaluru, India.

You will drive scalable, secure, and high-performance Odoo systems, oversee module development, integrations, migrations, and upgrades, and mentor a team of Odoo developers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development/ERP implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP and Odoo architecture.
• Strong expertise in Python and Odoo framework.
• Experience with Odoo ORM, models, views, workflows, security rules, and custom modules.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database.
• Experience with Odoo integrations and REST APIs.
• Experience with Odoo implementation, customization, migration, and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes such as Purchase, Manufacturing, Accounting, CRM, HR.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Strong knowledge of application security and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall Odoo technical architecture for enterprise implementations.
• Design scalable and high-performance Odoo solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Lead the customization, development, and implementation of Odoo modules.
• Develop and review custom solutions using Python and Odoo ORM.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, queries, and data models.
• Integrate Odoo with external applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Lead Odoo version upgrades, migrations, and data migration initiatives.
• Establish development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for Odoo.
• Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
• Troubleshoot complex performance, integration, and production issues.
• Design solutions for scalability, security, availability, and maintainability.
• Work with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Odoo developers.
• Evaluate Odoo community and third-party modules and determine their suitability.
• Design and implement REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Support CI/CD, deployment automation, and DevOps practices for Odoo environments.
• Prepare technical architecture documents, solution designs, and implementation guidelines.
