Job summary

Purview Services in India seeks an OCI + IDAM Security Lead to define, architect, and govern identity, access, and cloud security controls on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership across IAM, security architecture, compliance, and access governance, ensuring secure cloud adoption, least-privilege access, and regulatory alignment across enterprise workloads.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing IAM and security controls in OCI.
• Experience with identity lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, and federated authentication.
• Ability to define security policies, risk assessments, and remediation in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of OCI IAM including users, groups, policies, and network sources.
• Architect secure OCI tenancy and landing zones with enforcement of least privilege.
• Define and enforce RBAC models across OCI resources.
• Lead identity lifecycle management and access certification processes.
• Oversee authentication and federation using standards (SSO, MFA, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
• Oversee PAM and sensitive account controls within OCI.
• Define OCI security policies and controls for IAM, encryption, key management, and secure access patterns.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOX).
• Conduct risk assessments for identity configurations and remediation strategies.
• Act as security escalation point for IAM incidents in OCI.
• Monitor IAM events, access anomalies, and policy violations; drive remediation with infra, app, SOC teams.
• Drive remediation of misconfigurations and access risks with teams.

Role & responsibilities

The OCI + IDAM Security Lead is responsible for defining, architecting, and governing identity, access, and cloud security controls on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role provides technical leadership across IAM, security architecture, compliance, and access governance, ensuring secure cloud adoption, leastprivilege access, and regulatory alignment across enterprise workloads.

Key Responsibilities

OCI IAM & Security Architecture

• Lead the design and implementation of OCI Identity & Access Management (IAM) including users, groups, dynamic groups, compartments, policies, and network sources
• Architect secure OCI tenancy and landing zones aligned with enterprise security standards and segregation of duties
• Define and enforce leastprivilege and rolebased access control (RBAC) models across OCI resources

Identity Governance & Access Controls (IDAM)

• Lead identity lifecycle management (joiner, mover, leaver) and access certification processes
• Implement and govern authentication and federation using industry standards (SSO, MFA, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML)
• Oversee privileged access management (PAM) and sensitive account controls within OCI environments ]

Cloud Security & Compliance

• Define OCI security policies and controls covering IAM, encryption, key management, and secure access patterns
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, NIST, SOX framework alignment, not audit ownership)
• Conduct risk assessments for identity and access configurations and recommend mitigation strategies Operations & Incident Support
