Job summary

Synapsium Brain Health Care in Mumbai's Worli is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead the MINDCare360 programme for older adults, focusing on memory, cognition and dementia care. You will design and deliver group and individual sessions, perform functional assessments, and guide families and home staff.

A long-term role starting December 2026 with MOTh or BOTh registration. Candidates with 5+ years post-qualification, including geriatric/dementia exposure, English and Hindi

Qualifications

• MOTh (preferred) or BOTh with valid registration.
• 5+ years post-qualification, including 3+ years in geriatrics/dementia/neuro-rehab.
• Experience running group programmes for older adults.
• Excellent communication with older clients and families; fluent in English and Hindi; additional language a plus.
• Long-term commitment to build and own a programme.

• Grade activities to each person's cognitive and physical level.
• Guide families and home staff on routines and changes at home.

Synapsium MIND is a new multi-specialist brain health centre for memory, cognition and dementia care, opening in Worli in early 2027.

MINDCare360 is our structured programme for older adults, bringing together cognitive stimulation, movement, social engagement, creative activity and everyday-life practice. We're looking for an experienced OT to lead it.

What we're looking for

• MOTh (preferred) or BOTh, with valid professional registration
• 5+ years post-qualification, including at least 3 in geriatric, dementia or neuro-rehabilitation settings
• Experience running group programmes for older adults
• A warm, clear communicator with older clients and their families; fluent in English and Hindi (another regional language is a plus)
• Looking for a long-term role where you can build and own a programme
