Job summary

Ciel HR is seeking an experienced Obstetrician & Gynecologist (Sr. Consultant) for Pune location. The role involves leading comprehensive OPD and in-hospital care, managing high-risk pregnancies, and performing major surgeries including C-sections and hysterectomies.

Candidate must hold MBBS with MS/MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology with MCI, and have extensive experience in delivery and gynecologic procedures, with a focus on safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MS/MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology with MCI.
• 7 to 18 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OPD consultations and independently manages obstetric (e.g., high-risk pregnancies) and gynecologic cases (e.g., fibroids, endometriosis, cancers).
• Perform routine and emergency deliveries, major surgeries (C-sections, hysterectomies, myomectomies), and minimally invasive procedures (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy).
• Deliver expert counselling on family planning (contraceptives, sterilization), reproductive health, infertility, menopause, and preventive screenings (Papsmears, mammograms).
• Oversee high-risk pregnancies (e.g., preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, multiples) and coordinate with neonatal units for seamless perinatal care.
• Ensure patient safety through risk assessments, documentation, follow-ups, and quality metrics; leads audits and incident reviews.
