UST is seeking a practical and experienced Obsolescence Management Mechanical & Electrical Engineer (OBS Engg) to support engineering change management. The role involves identifying replacement solutions, coordinating with OEMs and suppliers, and ensuring accurate CAD updates and documentation in Teamcenter.

Qualifications

• Experience in OBS management and engineering change management (ECM).
• Proficiency with Teamcenter, CAD tools (OrCAD/Allegro/CAM350/AutoCAD) and data management.
• Overall industry experience >5 years and good stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Identify replacement solutions and create Engineering Change Packages.
• Contact OEMs for technical specs and datasheets of replacements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers for needs and approvals.
• Manage ECR activities and follow-up with approvals.
• Update drawings in Teamcenter and CAD tools; release components to Teamcenter.
• Create and update drawings; manage part releases and revisions.

• Electrical Design Engg & Mechanical Design Engg
• OBS mgmt., Engg change mgmt. and overall industry experience >5yrs
• Team Center / OrCAD / Allegro / CAM350 / AutoCAD experience/E3
• Project Mgmt. awareness

Scope of Work

This SOW is a capacity-based engagement with total maximum hours for each Project below:

Project Name: OBS Engg/Change Management Support

OBS Engg Support

• Replacement Solution Identification and Engg Change Package
• Contacting OEMs for technical specs / datasheets of replacements
• Contacting stakeholders and suppliers – need basis
• ECR activities
• Stakeholders issue resolution and approval follow-up
• Update drawings using E3S/UG/CAM350 / AutoCAD or any other software
• Component release to Team Center
• Drawing creation and updates – need basis

Work Requirements
