Job summary

Deloitte Development LLC's AI & Engineering team seeks a Managed Services Engineer III to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise AI solutions that automate complex workflows across hybrid cloud environments. You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and support end-to-end delivery in production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, mentor platform engineers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years hands-on experience in enterprise IT/DevOps

As a Managed Services Engineer III, you will design, build, deploy, and optimize enterprise-scale AI solutions that help clients automate workflows and improve business and information technology operations. In this role, you will work across the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and support high-quality delivery in production environments. You will also contribute to implementation planning, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work you'll do

As a Managed Services Engineer III on the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and optimizing AI-powered agents and enterprise AI solutions that automate complex workflows and transform IT and business processes.

The Enterprise Observability Platform Tech Architect is responsible for architecting end-to-end observability solutions across hybrid cloud environments, driving strategy and implementation for large-scale enterprise monitoring. This role will focus on leveraging technologies such as ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), OpenSearch, AppDynamics, and integrating with modern DevOps practices using infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools like Terraform on leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Design, architect, and implement enterprise observability platforms using ELK, OpenSearch, and AppDynamics to deliver robust monitoring, logging, and tracing capabilities.
• Define and enforce observability standards, frameworks, and best practices across development, QA, and production environments.
• Integrate observability solutions with DevOps pipelines, enabling automation and continuous improvement.
• Lead migration efforts from legacy monitoring tools to modern platform solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, Security, App Dev) to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective observability solutions.
• Architect, automate, and manage infrastructure as code (IAC) using Terraform across multi-cloud environments.
• Optimize storage, search, and data visualization performance for log and metric data at scale.
• Develop technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and solution blueprints.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to platform engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluate and recommend new observability tools, trends, and technologies to continually improve platform capabilities.

Qualifications

Required:

• 6–10 years hands-on experience on the below
• Strong expertise in AppDynamics (APM), ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenSearch.
• Deep understanding of DevOps tools – Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Experience in Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Programming/scripting in Python, Shell, or Groovy.
• Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, SSL/TLS, and compliance monitoring.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university.
