Designation: Senior Resident – Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical care to patients in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department.
• Conduct and manage antenatal, postnatal and gynaecological cases.
• Attend emergency cases and provide timely medical intervention.
• Assist Consultants in the evaluation and management of patients.
• Perform and assist in obstetric and gynaecological procedures as per clinical requirements.
• Monitor patients during labour and manage routine and high-risk pregnancies under Consultant guidance.
• Conduct rounds and ensure appropriate documentation of patient care.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for effective patient management.
• Ensure timely investigations, treatment plans and follow-up of patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in emergency duties, on-call responsibilities and departmental activities.
• Follow hospital protocols and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
• MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Valid medical registration.
• Relevant experience in a hospital setting preferred.
