Job summary

Persistent Systems in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced OAM Engineer with 5+ years to join our telecom team. You will develop and manage network configuration, fault and performance management solutions for telecom systems, with emphasis on NETCONF/YANG based configuration and C++/Python development.

You will work in a hybrid, collaborative environment to build OAM modules, automate processes, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while operating in Linux multi-threaded systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in OAM/telecom network management.
• Experience with NETCONF/YANG-based device configuration.
• Proficient in C++11 and Python.
• Knowledge of Linux, multithreading, OO concepts.
• Familiar with CI/CD and build systems.
• Understanding of SNMP, HTTP, XML/JSON/YAML, Kafka.
• BE/B.Tech/MTech in CS/IT/ENTC or related.

The role involves developing and managing network configuration solutions, building OAM modules, automating processes, and supporting modern CI/CD and containerized environments.
