Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks an experienced IT infrastructure engineer to implement and troubleshoot Nutanix hyper-converged solutions across on-prem environments in India. You will work with NSXi, AHV, CVM, Prism Central and Prism Element to ensure performance, resilience and regular patching.

The role requires hands-on deployment, hardware readiness, and deep diagnostics of CVM, IO latency, and data resiliency, with strong collaboration across operations and support teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in implementations, troubleshooting, managing and monitoring Nutanix Hyper converged Solution.
• Hands on Experience on NSXi deployment, management and monitoring.
• Experience on Nutanix Appliances hardware & Hp Nutanix HW including installation configuration, and management of Nutanix hardware.
• Details troubleshooting knowledge on CVM, AHV, IO Latency.
• AHV patching through command line, Working experience on LCM, Foundation, upgrade Prism central and Prism element.
• Hardware troubleshooting, Data resiliency.
• Hands on experience on Nutanix File server.

• Hands on Experience on NSXi deployment , management and monitoring.
• Experience on Nutanix Appliances hardware & Hp Nutanix HW including installation configuration, and management of Nutanix hardware.
• Details troubleshooting knowledge on CVM, AHV, IO Latency,
• AHV patching through command line, Working experience on LCM, FOundation, upgrade Prism central and Prism element
• Hardware troubleshooting,

• Hands on experience on Nutanix File server,

Good-to-Have

• Deploy & Configure VMware ESXi host.
• Configure and install ESXi boot from SAN
• Create host profile for ESXi hosts
• How to Deploy and Configure a vCenter Server Appliance
• Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
• Good understanding of HA and DRS environment
• Experience in performance tuning of VMWare servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines
• How to Create vCenter Inventory (datacenter, cluster, hosts) for VMware vSphere
• Experience in Vrealize automation
