Job summary

Key Fasteners Corporation in the Chennai area is seeking General Production Associates for a 2nd shift from 3:00PM to 11:30PM. A 3‑month training period on the 1st shift is provided to acclimate new hires.

You will operate cold heading machines, perform close tolerance setups, use precision gauges, and load/unload parts via forklift while adhering to process standards. Eligible for yearly bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to processes.
• Strong attendance record.

• Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance.
• Use scales, micrometers, dial indicators and fixed gauges to check and gauge work.
• Load and unload product in the process using a forklift.
• Must read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions.
• Start machine, observe operation, inspect first run and sample work piece to ensure part conforms to specifications.
• Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments.

Compensation

$19.75 plus a $1.50 shift premium on 2nd Shift.
