Responsibilities

• Use inspection tools to check and gauge work accuracy.
• Load and unload product using a forklift.
• Read and follow process standards, control plans, and work instructions.
• Start machines, observe operation, and inspect first-run pieces.
• Change tooling at changeovers and make necessary adjustments.

Threading Operator

Key Fasteners Corporation is an industry leader in the cold-formed fastener manufacturing sector, with a focus on serving the automotive industry. Responsibilities

• Setup and operate a variety of thread rolling machines to produce quality products.
• Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance.
• Use scales, microscopes, micrometers, calipers and fixed gages to check and gage work.
• Load and unload product in the process using a forklift
• Must be able to read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions
• Starts machine, observes operation, inspect first run and sample work pieces to ensure part conforms to specifications.
• Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments.
