Job summary

Apollo Knowledge Ventures Limited is seeking a qualified nurse to join our care team. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, assist with wound care, and support emergency interventions as needed.

Collaborate with doctors to develop care plans, educate patients and families, and advocate for patients' rights while providing compassionate psychological support during stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conducting initial physical exams, recording medical history, and tracking vital signs to report any changes in health status.
• Treatment & Medication: Preparing and safely administering medications (IV, oral, etc.), managing medical equipment, and providing hands-on wound care or emergency interventions.
• Care Planning: Collaborating with doctors and specialists to develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.
• Patient Education: Instructing patients and their families on how to manage medications, understand disease processes, and follow post-discharge recovery steps.
• Advocacy & Support: Acting as a patient advocate to ensure their rights and preferences are respected, while providing psychological comfort during stressful situations.
