The Staff Nurse will work closely with doctors and nursing supervisors to ensure patients receive safe, timely, and compassionate care. The candidate should be able to monitor patient status, maintain accurate records, follow infection control practices, and coordinate with multiple hospital departments for smooth patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in assigned departments.
• Monitor vitals, oxygen level, pain, intake-output, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and nursing procedures safely.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, medication safety, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, dressing, and emergency care.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, care plans, and handover records.
• Report abnormal observations and patient deterioration promptly.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and patient care teams.
• Support patient admission, transfer, discharge, and shifting.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and compassionate communication.
