Northern Trust Bangalore is seeking a Senior Analyst in Corporate Actions to support the Fixed Income and Equity Portfolio Management group. You will process and verify corporate action events and perform secondary checks to ensure compliance with timelines and procedures.

You will collaborate with Reconciliation, Data Management and Front Office support teams to resolve discrepancies and address complex queries, while maintaining efficient daily operations and client service standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience on data scrubbing or processing corporate actions events.
• Understanding of Corporate actions lifecycle and wide range of Corporate Action event types.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

The Senior Analyst collaborates closely with other internal teams such as Reconciliation, Data Management, Front office support and on shore partners to resolve discrepancies and address complex queries.**MAJOR DUTIES**Focus on resolution of complex Corporate Actions transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines and/or processes of the International Markets. Identification, escalation and resolution of corporate action issues with particular emphasis on critical and complex issues. Works Closely with the team in ensuring timely completion of the daily activities, Monitors operations and accounting activities to ensure that all necessary reports, documents, and action items are processed. Receives service requests from clients and partners, executes daily client activity, oversees transaction processing, handles inquiry resolution, obtains appropriate documentation, and ensure systems information is up to date.**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS**Hands on experience on Data scrubbing or Processing of Corporate actions events is preferred. Require understanding of Corporate actions life cycle & wide range of Mandatory Corporate Action and Voluntary Corporate Action event types (Viz.. Tax reclaims, Stock Split, Spin-off, Merger, Acquisitions, Assimilation, Dividend Reinvestment, Rights issue, Optional currency etc.) across all the markets. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential in this role.
