Job summary

Smita Malojirao Dubal is seeking an experienced NPI / Manufacturing Engineer for electronics/PCBA manufacturing in Shirwal, Pune. The role focuses on NPI launches, APQP, PFMEA, PFC, PPAP, and driving process improvements from concept to production.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in Manufacturing Engineering / NPI, with a Diploma/B.E. in Electronics or Telecommunication, and strong client coordination and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, PFC and NPI processes
• Good customer interaction and project coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI launches and project implementation.
• Coordinate with customers on APQP completion during RFQ.
• Participate in APQP and feasibility study activities.
• Ensure availability of jigs, fixtures, tools and other resources before pilot runs.
• Validate machine parameters during prototype and pilot runs.
• Verify BOM, layouts and other project documentation.
• Understand and implement customer-specific requirements (CSR).
• Lead PFC and PFMEA preparation and review.
• Lead PPAP activities and coordinate customer approvals.
• Coordinate with customers on pilot lot observations and CAPA.
• Monitor cycle time, manpower requirements and line balancing.
• Validate tools, jigs, programs and machine settings.
• Manage ECR / ECN activities.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Management and other cross-functional teams.
• Prepare project plans, technical documentation and detailed engineering deliverables.
• Drive process engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and validation of equipment/processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered within defined time, cost, quality and quantity targets.
