Job summary

The Apex Group is seeking a Node.js-focused engineer to develop and maintain server-side logic, design APIs, and optimize performance across SQL/NoSQL databases. You will collaborate with front-end teams, implement secure data handling, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Node.js experience, familiarity with Express/NestJS, and a passion for scalable, secure backend systems that power fintech and asset servicing platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js runtime.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Hapi.js.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and design principles.
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL and NoSQL databases).
• Knowledge of API design and development (RESTful APIs, GraphQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., DevOps, Git).
• Understanding of security best practices in web development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is often preferred, along with relevant professional experience.
• Libraries: Axios, Sequelize, xlsx package, Async, Puppeteer, Lodash, Redux, Redis, JSON Web Tokens, Jest, Express, Eslint, Worked with Mulit-Tenancy architecture would be plus.

Experience (NodeJS) – 2+ years
