Node.js developer with gaming experience who can typically build scalable backend systems for multiplayer games, handling real-time interactions, player data, and server logic using Node.js frameworks like Express or Socket.io. Develop and maintain server-side logic for games, including multiplayer features, matchmaking, leaderboards, and real-time synchronization using WebSockets or similar protocols. Design RESTful/GraphQL APIs to integrate game clients (e.g., Unity, web-based) with backend services for user authentication, inventory management, and game state persistence. Optimize server performance for high-concurrency gaming environments, implementing caching (Redis), load balancing, and database scaling with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
