Job summary

Shashwath Solution is seeking a NodeJS Backend Developer to lead the Back-End Development team alongside Front-End, Design, and Product teams. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems while ensuring secure code and industry standards across all platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to SCRUM ceremonies, and mentoring team members to deliver high-quality features with robust testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of backend development experience.
• Experience with ExpressJS, Kubernetes, API Gateway, DynamoDB and AWS services.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Fluent in Git and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with NodeJS and cloud architectures is essential.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Ability to deliver quality, testable code with proper planning and documentation.

As a NodeJS Backend Developer, you will be required to lead the Back-End Development team alongside the Front-End Development, Design, and Product Development teams to ensure all components and elements are delivered efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Align and communicate between the Back-End Development, Design, and Product Development teams to ensure the success of each development sprint.
• Perform planning for all front-end related projects.
• Design, implement, and maintain back-end systems.
• Ensure all components and the codebase are consistent, secure, and meet industry standards.
• Optimize the back-end for maximum speed and scalability on all screens.
• Conduct R&D and introduce new features to enhance user experiences.
• Ensure all codes and components are reusable for future use.
• Perform consistent code reviews.
• Apply and practice SCRUM ceremonies for each project.
• Motivate and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• Experience with Backend Technologies like ExpressJS, Kubernetes, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.
• 4-5 years of experience in back-end development; experience with front-end development will be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of key UI/UX design principles.
• Strong exposure to modern technologies, including NodeJS and cloud architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Keen to deliver quality and testable code through planning, documentation, coding standards, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Fluent in Git.
• Strong understanding and experience in seamless CI/CD processes to achieve one-click delivery.
• Excellent exposure to Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Ability to conduct all SCRUM ceremonies.
• Passionate about developing new ideas and approaches with demonstrable and sustainable continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with experience in multicultural environments.
