Job summary

Bharti Airtel seeks an NMT Engineer in Tirupati to join our telecom operations team. The role focuses on reducing fiber faults, ensuring smooth OSP routes, and maintaining fiber readiness for new projects. You will collaborate with agencies and perform preventative maintenance and testing as required.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of splicing experience and a Graduate level education (B.Tech not required). Location is Tirupati withfull-time employment and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Graduate (no B.Tech) as specified in the job posting.
• 3+ years of splicing experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to work in Tirupati and travel as needed.
• Experience with fiber maintenance and fault repair.

Responsibilities

• Reduce fiber cuts and OSP faults while coordinating with agencies.
• Ensure repair and return processes and testing for assigned tasks.
• Maintain fiber readiness for new projects and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor MTTR and service level adherence for fiber incidents.
• Assist in detecting faults like connectors and attenuators and document results.
