Job summary

Nextenti Tech Private Limited is seeking a skilled NICU nurse to provide specialized neonatal care in Attapur, Hyderabad. You will monitor infants, administer medications, and maintain strict infection control while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold GNM or BSc Nursing, with NICU experience, and will educate and support parents on infant care techniques. Hostel facilities are available for female staff, and you will work in a dedicated General department.

Qualifications

• GNM or BSc Nursing with valid registration.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate clinical documentation for each infant, ensuring compliance with medical protocols and guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team, observing for any adverse reactions and reporting them promptly.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and provide emergency support as required, demonstrating proficiency in life‑saving techniques.
• Educate and support parents, offering guidance on infant care techniques and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Implement and adhere to strict infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections within the NICU.
• Provide specialized care to preterm infants, adapting care plans to meet their unique needs and promoting optimal development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and modify individualized care plans for neonates, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
