We are looking for a confident, articulate, and camera-friendly News Anchor / On-Camera Host who can present stories, news, interviews, and digital content with clarity, credibility, and energy.
The ideal candidate has a strong command of language, excellent screen presence, and the ability to turn information into engaging content for a modern digital audience.
- Present news, current affairs, interviews, and digital media content on camera.
- Research and understand stories before presenting them.
- Deliver scripts naturally with confidence, accuracy, and appropriate tone.
- Conduct interviews with guests, industry professionals, and subject-matter experts.
- Participate in live and pre-recorded shoots.
- Collaborate with writers, producers, video editors, and the creative team.
- Adapt presentation style for different platforms, including YouTube and social media.
- Maintain professional on-camera presence and strong communication standards.
- Contribute ideas for new shows, segments, formats, and digital content.
- Stay updated on relevant national and international news and emerging trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong command of English.
- Fluent Punjabi speaking skills are required.
- Knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.
- Confident and engaging on-camera personality.
- Ability to read and deliver scripts naturally rather than mechanically.
- Strong research and storytelling abilities.
- Professional appearance and studio presence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced media environment.
