Job summary

Allana Group in Zaheerabad (Pet Food Plant) is seeking an R&D professional to drive end-to-end product development for pet foods (dry, wet, treats). The role focuses on formulation, innovation pipelines, and ensuring timely commercialization that meets safety, regulatory, quality, and profitability goals.

You will collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Procurement and Manufacturing to create, trial, and launch innovative products while optimizing costs and ensuring scalable production.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve pet food recipes (dry, wet, treats) based on nutrition guidelines.
• Conduct trials and ensure products are safe, tasty, and long-lasting.
• Work with Quality and Regulatory teams for compliance and labelling.
• Identify new trends and ideas for pet food products.
• Develop unique and functional products that stand out in the market.
• Collaborate with Marketing for product positioning and claims.
• Find ways to reduce product costs without compromising quality.
• Work with Procurement and Manufacturing to source cost-effective materials.
• Deliver measurable savings through smart formulation and packaging changes.
• Manage timelines and coordinate with different teams.
• Prepare product specifications and documentation.
• Ensure smooth scale-up and launch of new products.
