Job summary

Indus Towers Ltd. seeks a Site Acquisition professional to lead telecom site sourcing across Nadia and nearby regions.

You will identify and secure sites, negotiate rents, coordinate with landlords, and ensure timely delivery of targets while maintaining compliance with municipal and operator requirements. You will travel to project sites, coordinate with Planning, Legal and Deployment teams, and manage documentation to support rollout activities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in telecom deployment, site acquisition or related field.
• Experience in real estate acquisition and field sales preferred.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with site approvals, NOC processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acquire suitable sites per customer latitude/longitude specs.
• Conduct soft/hard acquisition activities for new telecom sites.
• Perform regular field visits for site ID, acquisition and HOTO.
• Coordinate with landlords and local authorities on approvals.
• Ensure monthly site acquisition and delivery targets are met.
• Collect and verify landowner/site documents; ensure compliance.
• Use iAcquire for site activities; update RWM and CCA records.
• Negotiate rental terms and manage landlord relationships.
• Collaborate with Planning, Legal and Deployment teams.
• Conduct market surveys and support JV/SST activities; report progress.

Location - Based at Nadia and Covering Nadia and Full 24 Pgn

Role & responsibilities :

1. Site Acquisition

• Acquire suitable sites as per customer-provided latitude and longitude requirements.
• Conduct soft and hard acquisition activities for new telecom sites.

2. Field Operations

• Perform regular field visits for site identification, acquisition, and HOTO (Hand Over Take Over) activities.
• Visit hold sites and support issue resolution on the ground.

3. Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly site acquisition and delivery targets.
• Ensure planned annual delivery numbers for SP and HOTO are met.

4. Documentation Management

• Collect and verify all required landowner and site documents.
• Maintain documentation compliance as per company requirements.

5. Tool Utilization

• Perform site activities through the iAcquire application.
• Update and maintain records in RWM and complete CCA-related requirements.

6. Negotiation & Stakeholder Management

• Conduct rental negotiations with landlords and property owners.
• Manage relationships with landowners and local stakeholders.

7. Approvals & Compliance

• Coordinate with operator teams for real-time RF approvals.
• Facilitate NOC collection and comply with municipal authority requirements.

8. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Planning, Legal, and Deployment teams for site acquisition and rollout activities.
• Coordinate with OPCO teams and government/municipal authorities.

9. Market Development Activities

• Conduct market surveys and market storming activities to identify acquisition opportunities.
• Support JV-related activities and SST requirements.

10. Reporting & Monitoring

• Provide regular updates on acquisition status, site progress, and challenges.
• Participate in reviews, monitoring, and performance tracking activities.

Experience

• Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in Telecom Deployment, Site Acquisition, Operations, or related field activities.
• Experience in telecom infrastructure, real estate acquisition, or field sales preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong site acquisition and landlord negotiation skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to coordinate with local authorities, landlords, and operator teams.
• Knowledge of documentation, agreement execution, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with acquisition and reporting tools.

Knowledge Requirements

• Basic telecom industry knowledge.
• Understanding of site acquisition processes, municipal approvals, and NOC requirements.
• Awareness of urban landlord engagement and rental negotiations.
