Network Specialist Role at Tata Consultancy Services
Undertake and oversee complex network fault investigations at an L2 level in local and wide area environments, utilizing information from multiple sources in coordination with network vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Troubleshooting: Rich experience in troubleshooting end-to-end network issues with technologies such as Meraki, Viptela, F5, etc.
- Problem Management: Oversee the management of P1 incidents and recurring failures, ensuring root causes are identified and remediated through the change management process.
- Continual Improvement: Drive service improvement initiatives with network vendors and internal teams, contributing to service reviews and generating ideas to enhance network stability and user experience.
- Audits: Conduct regular audits of LAN/WAN infrastructure to ensure compliance with standards and support external audits.
- Change Management: Perform technical reviews and impact assessments for network changes.
- DDI Architecture: Deep understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM components, including DHCP leasing and IP address management.
- Tools & Automation: Support automation initiatives using tools like ThousandEyes and Datadog.
- Operational Acceptance: Define and implement standards for onboarding new network infrastructure.
- Vulnerability Management: Own the vulnerability management process, ensuring timely remediation of vulnerabilities to prevent security breaches.
- Reporting: Review, analyze, and improve SLA parameters with vendors, and participate in MSRs, WSRs, and QBRs related to networks.
