HM.CLAUSE, a leading vegetable seeds company, seeks talent in production to ensure timely, quality seed output while enforcing hygiene and safety standards. You will manage field plots, coordinate with growers, and report progress accurately to supervisors.

The role emphasizes knowledge of crops, strong teamwork, and alignment with company policies on labor practices, ensuring sustainable production across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience in seed production or agro-industry preferred.
• Ability to manage field plots and ensure quality.
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene practices in production.
• Strong communication and teamwork across functions.

Responsibilities

• Quantity, quality and timeliness of seed produced.
• Adequate and timely reports provided to Deputy NW Manager/Production Officer.
• Accurate and up-to-date reporting of field activity to ensure IP of the product.
• Careful handling of production plots to ensure right quality and quantity.
• Disease-free seed production with proper Hygiene implementation.
• Execution of grower agreements, ensuring no child labor as per policy with field monitoring.
• Knowledge of crops and growing practices within assigned area; coordination with internal customers.

Production

Main Goal

Within the responsible area, execute & monitor the allocated production orders to secure the timely availability of the requested quantity and quality with effective mobilization of resources and manpower. Ensure to take all precautionary measure to control/ or avoid the environmental pollution.

Job Description

• Quantity, quality and timeliness of seed produced
• Adequate and timely reports provided to Deputy NW Manger/ or Production Officer
• Accurate and up-to-date reporting of field activity to ensure IP of the product
• Careful handling production plots to ensure right quality and quantity.
• Disease free seed production with effective implementation of Hygiene
• Execution of agreements with the grower for the production order and ensure that HMC and ensure no use of child labor during production activity as per policy though effective field monitoring according to CLAP policy.
• Knowledge of the crop, growing practices within assigned area and labor base
  • Familiarity with production research practices and field plot techniques is strongly preferred
  • Ability to synchronize the need of the company with the needs and demands of the contracted internal customer
