Job Title: Network Software Engineering Leader – Presales & Delivery

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior, highly experienced Networking and Telecom Systems Architect who will own end-to-end responsibility from pre‑sales through delivery. This role requires deep expertise across wireline, wireless, access, core, transport, IP/MPLS, VNFs, and high‑performance data‑plane technologies (DPDK), coupled with strong customer‑facing and leadership capabilities. The individual will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, a solution partner to Sales, and a technical guide to delivery teams, ensuring successful PoCs and production‑grade deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre‑Sales & Customer Engagement – serve as the primary technical interface with customers, lead technical discovery, solution definition, and architecture discussions; translate business and operational requirements into end‑to‑end technical solutions; support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, SoWs, and solution presentations.
• Architecture & PoC Leadership – design end‑to‑end telecom solutions across access, transport, core, and data plane; define and guide Proof of Concepts (PoCs) aligned to customer use cases; ensure PoCs are scalable, validated, and production ready.
• Delivery & Technical Governance – act as technical owner during delivery; guide teams on detailed design, implementation, integration, and troubleshooting; handle complex cross‑domain technical escalations; ensure solution quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Technical Leadership – mentor architects and engineers; review designs and implementations for best practices; drive technical standards, reusable assets, and continuous improvement.

Core Technical Expertise

• Networking: IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF/IS‑IS, Segment Routing, EVPN/VXLAN.
• Domains: Wireline, Wireless (LTE/5G), Access, Transport, Core.
• Virtualization: VNFs/CNFs, NFV concepts.
• High Performance: DPDK, SR‑IOV, NUMA, system tuning.
• Platforms: Linux systems, containers, Kubernetes (telecom workloads).

Detailed Experience

• Strong experience in SD‑WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, packet processing, L2‑L4 protocols, high availability, and all phases of SDLC.
• Experience in data‑plane forwarding, DPDK packet processing, and performance tuning.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills; knowledge of performance/scale characterization of networking/telecom solutions.
• Working knowledge of networking, Linux, Git, systems engineering, REST‑based services, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, cloud‑native application development, CI/CD workflows, release management, and production deployment processes.
• Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, MLOps, ML model lifecycle pipelines, and ML model training/fine‑tuning.

Experience & Profile

• 20+ years in telecom or large‑scale networking systems, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams.
• Proven pre‑sales and delivery ownership across Tier1 customers.
• Experience working with telecom operators, OEMs, or large enterprises.
• Strong customer communication and executive presentation skills.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic, and technically authoritative.
