Rackspace Technology in Gurugram, India, seeks a Network Security Engineer II to join immediate. You will resolve L2 incidents, manage CRs in ServiceNow, and administer security through Palo Alto and Zscaler platforms while ensuring ITIL-aligned operations.

You will troubleshoot BGP/OSPF/VLANs, oversee Infoblox DDI for DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and engage cross-functional teams to improve incident response, security postures, and network reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience handling L2 incidents and CRs within ITIL framework.
• Proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls and Zscaler services.
• Strong routing, switching and wireless troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP/IPAM (Infoblox) and modern network tools.
• ITIL-based incident management and cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve L2 incidents and manage Change Requests in ServiceNow.
• Administer Palo Alto firewall policies, NAT, and VPNs; troubleshoot Zscaler access.
• Troubleshoot BGP/OSPF/VLANs; monitor Juniper Mist Wi-Fi.
• Manage DNS/DHCP/IPAM with Infoblox DDI.
• Escalate complex issues to L3 with detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Participate in major incidents, post-incident reviews, and root-cause analysis.
• Own incidents through to resolution with clear communication to stakeholders.

Network Security Engineer II - Immediate joiner

Job Description

• Operations & ITSM: Resolve L2 incidents, execute Change Requests (CRs), and handle service tasks in ServiceNow following ITIL processes.
• Security (Palo Alto & Zscaler): Administer Palo Alto firewall policies, NAT, and VPNs. Troubleshoot Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) user access, cloud proxies, and Client Connector (ZCC) issues.
• Network & Wireless: Troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and switching protocols. Monitor and fix enterprise Wi-Fi using Juniper Mist.
• Core DDI (Infoblox): Manage DNS records (A, CNAME, PTR), DHCP scopes, and IP Address Management (IPAM).
• Escalate critical or complex issues to L3 teams with detailed technical analysis and recommendations.
• Participate in major incident management, post-incident reviews, and root cause analysis activities.
• Own incidents through to resolution within L2 scope while ensuring clear communication with customers, stakeholders and within the Team.
• Perform detailed analysis of security and network events, identify incidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and assist with firewall rule changes, policy optimizations, upgrades, migrations, and configuration updates.

• Tech Stack & Certifications

  • Technologies: Palo Alto, Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), Juniper Mist Wi-Fi, Infoblox DDI, Routing & Switching (BGP/OSPF/VLANs), ServiceNow.
  • Certifications (Preferred): PCNSA, ZCCA/ZCCP, CCNA/JNCIA.
