Assistant Manager (KGS)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of technology engineering product roadmaps and maintain existing roadmaps. Evaluate the current network security engineering and develop action plans to make necessary improvements in line with industry best practices and standards.
• Provide input on the overall technology plan for the organization, ensuring specific technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure and ecosystem. Collaborate and work effectively with different technology teams and vendors delivering complete networking solutions.
• Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of current industry directions and trends. Drive to deliver technology and products in the roadmap on schedule, and with the highest quality.
• Provide advice, guidance, and direction to carry out plans and procedures. Ensure product development process adherence, performance and budget targets are met. Provide last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis. Establish network environments by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Understand the Operations and Engineering of the Network security and recommend ways to enhance productivity and visibility through automation. Work closely with internal Network Operations and Engineering teams to gather requirements and build/deploy appropriate tools.
• Build configuration management, service provisioning, inventory management, resource management, process automation, visibility, and self-service tools. Provide training and guidance to other members of the Network team.

Qualifications

• Experience with web proxy products such as Broadcom, ZScaler, Palo Alto Prisma and other competitive vendor products; expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and associated feature sets.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet; familiarity with SolarWinds, Splunk, and network visibility products is a plus.
• Ability to program with one or more scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, JavaScript).
• Working knowledge of web site categorization by vendors, SSL decryption, certificate and TLS standards, encryption, policy layers, cloud-based proxy offerings, SAML authentication, and next‑generation firewalls.
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud proxy offerings and large-scale deployments; ability to define a product roadmap and deliver designs in production environments at scale.
• Experience designing and certifying web proxy platforms for various use cases; extensive experience with Secure Web Gateway and SaaS-based remote access products; good understanding of zero‑trust ecosystems and enterprise use cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority, prioritize, delegate, and foster high-performance teams in a customer‑centric environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and multi‑project management skills. Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans.
