Job summary

UST is seeking a Network Security Engineer in Bengaluru to manage Palo Alto NGFWs, Panorama, and VPNs, while strengthening enterprise networking and security posture.

You will configure policies, NAT, and VPNs, troubleshoot complex issues across L2–L7, and support LAN/WAN routing and switching in a global, hybrid environment. Bachelor's degree required; 5–10 years in security and networking is preferred.

• Strong hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls and PAN-OS expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage Palo Alto NGFW (PA-Series) & Panorama.

• Troubleshoot network and security issues (L2-L7).
• Support LAN/WAN networks—routing (BGP, OSPF) & switching (VLANs, STP).
• Perform firewall rule reviews, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with global teams in a hybrid model.

Summary

UST is looking for a Network Security Engineer with strong Palo Alto firewall expertise and solid networking & switching skills to support a global enterprise environment.

What You Need

Required Skills

• 5-10 years in network security & networking
• Strong hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls
• Solid TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP knowledge
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP
• Expertise in VPNs (IPSec/SSL) and troubleshooting

Desired Skills

• Enterprise experience (semiconductor is a plus)
• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure)
• PCNSE certification
