Job summary

VARITE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security for enterprise networks. The role focuses on Palo Alto firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and security policy enforcement.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with firewall technologies, authentication methods, and cloud skills in AWS and Azure, ready to join an office-based team in Bangalore. Immediate joiners only.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering Network Security Operations across enterprise networks.
• Knowledge of authentication methods like Radius and TACACS.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler Load Balancers and Web Application Firewall.
• Experience with URL filtering, proxies, anti-spam, and IPS.
• Configuring URL filtering, file blocking and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Firewall VPN/Remote Access networks.
• Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).

About The Job:

• We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security solutions for enterprise networks.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and security policies to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats.

Essential Job Functions:

• Network Security Design & Implementation:
  • Design and deploy security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Configure and maintain network access controls and segmentation.

Qualifications:

1. 7 plus years of Experience in Delivering Network Security Operations in various security products such as Check point /Palo Alto Firewalls / Cisco firewall.

2. Good knowledge on authentication methods like radius &tacacs.

3. Hands on experience and good understanding and troubleshooting skills on Citrix NetScaler Load balancers / Web Application firewall.

4. Working knowledge on URL filtering /proxies/Antispam & IPS.

5. Hands on experience in configuring URL filtering, file blocking and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls.

6. Experience in Firewalls VPN/Remote Access network

7. Cloud Technology ( AWS, Azure)
