Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking a Network Security expert with 5–10 years of experience to manage security architectures, firewall configurations, and incident resolution across enterprise networks.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (APP-ID, User-ID, Panorama) and F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM, Infoblox, and coordinating with vendors and customers to maintain uninterrupted services.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-10 years of experience in IT network security.
• End-to-end IT infrastructure and Network Administration experience (Network Security).
• Experience handling fault tickets (Service-Now) in coordination with Customer, application teams or device vendors to resolve issues.
• Experience dealing with various vendors and troubleshooting of network security issues.
• Configuration of firewall rules to allow or deny access as per user/application requirement.
• Strong knowledge on advanced firewall features like APP-ID, User-ID, GlobalProtect, WildFire, NAT policies and Security Profiles.
• Proficient in administration of Palo Alto firewalls using Panorama and PAN-OS upgrades.
• Configuring advanced features (Profiles, monitors, Redundancy, SSL Termination, Persistence, SNATS, HA on F5 BIG-IP).
• Experience with iRules, policy and Big-IP F5 on LTM and GTM.
• Experience with upgrading F5 LTM/GTM devices for feature and performance improvements and security risk mitigation.
• Supported Infoblox appliances grid for DNS, DHCP and IPAM (IPv4).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Configuration, Change Management).
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end IT infrastructure and network security administration.

• Configure advanced F5 LTM/GTM features and perform device upgrades.
• Maintain Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM and related configurations.
• Support ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration management.
• Maintain effective customer-facing communication.

• Technical Support and Fault Management/troubleshooting for Network firewall and Load balancer issue.

• Strong knowledge on leveraging advanced firewalls features like APP-ID, User-ID, Global Protect, Wild Fire, NAT policies and Security Profiles.
• Profound working knowledge of administration and management of Palo Alto firewalls using centralized Panorama and PAN-OS upgradation.
• Configuring various advanced features (Profiles, monitors, Redundancy, SSL Termination, Persistence, SNATS, HA on F5 BIGIP appliances SSL termination and initiation.
• Worked on configuring and troubleshooting Nodes, Pools, Profiles, Virtual Servers, SSL Certificates offloading.
• Working experience on iRules, policy and Big-IP F5 on LTM and GTM load balancers like GHA creation to provide uninterrupted service to customers/Application.
• Working experience on code upgrades of virtual and physical F5 LTM and GTM devices for feature and performance improvement and to mitigate security risk.
• Supported Infoblox appliances grid environment for DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management tools (IPv4) for the enterprise network.
• Worked on creating and maintaining new subnets, host with several record entries like CNAME, PTR, A, etc) with DHCP scopes using Graphical User Interface.
• In depth Knowledge on ITIL processes like Incident management, Problem Management, Configuration management and Change Management processes.
• Candidate should have been in a customer facing role with excellent communication skills.
• Strong technical knowledge and eagerness to learn new technologies
